I can’t stand bad service. Can you?

Whether you’re in a restaurant, staying in a hotel or simply buying a new t-shirt, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

And when it comes to the business world bad service can cost you three of your most valuable assets:

  • Time
  • Money
  • Effort

None of which you have to go to waste, do you?

So when I look around at interpretation and translation services and see that the slipping standards that other companies have, it really gets on my nerves.

And it’s time to put an end to it.

This article, then, is to help you identify what these bad interpretation and translation companies are doing. And, why it’s time to change to a company that really cares.

#1: They Keep You Waiting

Bad interpreting and translation companies are little like National Rail.

They think anything under 15 minutes isn’t late. They’re more fussed about their own schedule than yours. And they apologise for what’s gone wrong; but then do nothing to fix it. Just what you want, right?

Obviously not. If you were treated that way in any other walk of life you’d have sent them packing.

Not with us.

We believe in the old saying that, “15 minutes early is five minutes late”.

Your time is valuable and we care about it. There’s no worrying if we’ll be on time. No billing you for when we weren’t there. And if you’re not happy, we do everything in our power to fix it.

If you need us, we’re there, on time. No questions asked.

#2: They’re Disorganised

Bad interpreting and translation companies have a hard time getting themselves together.

They:

  • Rush their preparation
  • Forget important documents
  • Lose key pieces of information from the session

That means you’re left with a paperwork hangover, and more work than you started with. Rebooking meetings. Chasing them up. Or, even worse, paying another call out fee.

Time, money and energy all wasted because they couldn’t get their act together before they left the office.

When you work with us, that’s not a worry you’re ever going to have. We go the extra mile to make sure you get everything you need on the first go. No if’s, no but’s and no excuses.

Put simply; we make sure the job gets done right the first time.

#3: They Aren’t Flexible Around You

Bad interpreting and translation companies don’t make themselves available to you. They play hard to get. Only fitting you in when they have an opening, not when you need them.

But this isn’t dating, this is business.

You want appointments, translations and meetings at times to suit you. Your results depend on it.

That’s why we have a round-the-clock call out policy to suit you:

  • Middle of the night with a rare language? We’re there.
  • Easy Spanish translation on a Tuesday morning? There’s a spot for you in our diary already.

The translator you need is already sat here just waiting for your call. What are you waiting for?.

#4: They Leave You All The Paperwork

Bad interpreting and translation companies don’t think past the end of the appointment. They think that once times up, they can clock off and head to the next job.

Remember that paperwork hangover I mentioned before? Well that’s just doubled. You’ve shifted one stack, only to be left with a fresh new pile.

The more time you spend treading water in this sea of paperwork, the more time and money you’re wasting. All of which could be put to much better use.

But don’t fret. We’re problem solvers, not creators.

We want to take all the bureaucracy off your hands. We’ll do as much of the leg work as possible. If we can make your life easier, we will.

That means that instead of adding to your to-do list, we’ve helped you make it even shorter. That’s why you hired us in the first place, right?

#5: They Make Mountains Out Of Molehills

With bad interpreting and translation companies nothing is simple and easy.

It could be:

  • Having a long winded process to book a job
  • Having to reschedule appointments
  • Getting into their bad books because you left some feedback

From start to finish, the process is time consuming and wasteful for no reason whatsoever. Even the most simple of forms means you need to re-write a chapter from War and Peace.

But not even Richard Branson can buy back a single second. So we put a big focus on saving you as much time as possible.

We have a:

We’re always sure our systems are simple, effective and easy to use. Without any of the drama.

#6: They Don’t Respect You

To a bad interpreting and translation company you’re just an invoice.

A tick in the box of the sales manager and a necessary evil to running a business. They don’t think of you as a person.

That means they don’t treat you with the love, care and respect you deserve.

With us, you’re family. There’s no question about it. And we make sure you’re treated that way.

Our whole business is built on family values. With a huge focus on respect.

It doesn’t matter if we’re dealing with a CEO, a normal employee or your buildings security guards.

You’ll always be treated with the utmost respect.

What You Should Do About It…

Does this sound like the current company you’re using?

You wouldn’t accept these standard anywhere else in your life, so don’t take them in translation either. If it does sound like them, it’s time to change to someone who cares about you.

How do you do that?

It all start’s by simply reaching out to us.

Get in touch and see how we can solve all of these problems, and more.
